- Billie MThis “insider” spot is hidden in a small alley near the market place. The small alley leading in are lined with manicure shops that are out in the open (you sit on a small plastic teeny weenie stool and they do manicures on the road for you). So if google map tells you that way, don’t worry you are headed in the right direction! Once we got there it was very crowded. Most of the crowd are foreigners though, I don’t recall seeing any locals. However the food is super delicious and they are quite authentic. Highly recommend the coconut fried rice, there are shaved and bits of actual coconut amidst the rice, so there’s a strong kick of coconut with every bite. Not a very usual combination that you get elsewhere.
- Anne NThe food is guaranteed to be fantastic, although the portion is on the small side, especially if you're expecting something value-for-money. On the other hand, if you're not familiar with the local joints, why not dine here instead of the many other places that could be hit and miss? You'll definitely enjoy the food, as well as the decor. If you're strict on time be sure to call the restaurant to confirm their opening hours. On the day we visited they only opened at 12 noon instead of 10.30am or 11am as stated elsewhere. Definitely try the beef skewers and the stir-fried morning glory!
- JoeiLim SFood was very good. By far the best I had in HCMC. Reasonable price. Staff speaks fairly English. Service is good and foods served fast.
